1. Information We Collect
Velo collects the following data to provide fitness analytics:
- Account information: Your email address, used for authentication via magic link.
- Fitness & health data: Activity metrics (steps, distance, calories, heart rate), sleep data, and workout records synced from your connected wearable devices via the Terra API.
- AI-generated insights: Personalized health summaries generated by Google Gemini based on your aggregated fitness data.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Display your fitness dashboard with activity, sleep, and body metrics.
- Generate personalized AI-powered health insights.
- Deduplicate data from multiple wearable sources.
- Improve the accuracy and quality of our analytics.
3. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase: Authentication and database hosting.
- Terra API: Wearable device data aggregation (Garmin, Fitbit, Apple Health, etc.).
- Google Gemini: AI insight generation. Aggregated fitness summaries are sent to generate personalized recommendations. No raw health records are shared.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled — only you can access your own data. All connections use HTTPS encryption in transit. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your fitness data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@usevelo.fit. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@usevelo.fit.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
